1. Driving
DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM AIRPORT TO THE AMATHUS BEACH HOTEL
FROM LARNACA AIRPORT TO THE AMATHUS BEACH LIMASSOL
There is only one road out of the airport. Follow this road until the roundabout, take the first exit and proceed until the first traffic lights.
Turn right at the traffic lights and proceed until the next roundabout. Take the first exit for Limassol and proceed. This highway brings you onto the highway B5 to Limassol, which joins the Nicosia highway A1 at Kofinou village. Follow the A1 highway and exit at Pareklisia, turn right at the traffic lights and proceed approximately 3km. The Amathus is located on the left hand side.
FROM PAPHOS AIRPORT TO AMATHUS BEACH LIMASSOL
There is only one road out of the airport. Follow this road until the T-junction and turn right. Once you join the highway in the direction of Limassol and Nicosia, follow the signs. Follow the highway until you reach Limassol, drive through six roundabouts following directions for Nicosia.
Exit at Pareklisia, take the first right and proceed to the stop sign, turn right and continue for approximately 3 km. The hotel is located on the left hand side.
2. Taxi
To travel from the airport (Paphos or Larnaca) you can take a taxi (rate is ~35 CYP).
3. TravelExpress Services
For more economical transfer participants can book and share a mini-bus from the TravelExpress Services:
either
a) Online http://www.travelexpress.com.cy (booking under the booking/reservation request section)
or
b) By email to taxi@travelexpress.com.cy
The participants would need to give (in their email or online booking) their preferred time (and of course date) of departure from the airport for the Conference venue (Amathus Beach Hotel, Limassol), and based on the requests, TravelExpress Office will arrange convenient departure times of the mini-buses (each for 5-10 people). The cost for each mini-bus is 35 cypriot pounds (i.e. for people altogether sharing it), which is much more economical. We have informed them to expect conference people from Sunday late afternoon to Monday night.
Note that the hotels are within walking distance.
